No surprise to see mostly SG2 officials appointed this round with only Marriner, Hooper and Tierney from SG1. Biggest shock is that both Edwards and Brammall get televised games involving PL teams - an excellent sign for both!

Some interesting choices for TV games.

Quite surprised to see Marriner, Hooper and Tierney refereeing at this stage.

Probably quite obvious - both haven’t had a PL game on opening day

Stroud might need a few more cards if this penalty shootout keeps going! 10-10 thus far!!!

IMO Craig Hicks had a poor night at gillingham last night. Backing out of making nearly any decisions is to me worse than making the occasional wrong one. Definitely at least one sending off in the game however he did step up to play the hero and give gillingham their equalising penalty.
