Great.   8)
Very similar to the NTFC unofficial board that I moderate, although from a different service provider.
In my experience, this layout is probably the best of all boards that I visit.

Hi all,

Firstly, well done. This is great, MUCH better than Tapatalk!! Appreciate all the hard work and effort put in by the Mods, Admins and anybody else who helped out.

Just one query from me, on the old site you used to be able to jump to the latest post in any discussion. This saved having to re-read posts each time. I have checked through the settings but cannot seem to find this (other than opting for most recent post at the top).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully Gayle's pointers should help you out.

The post above yours also explains it Conkernut. I have now started a dedicated thread though as these things get lost so quickly and as more queries like this get raised we can add the solutions into the dedicated thread.

I am a slight anomaly it seems, but I feel that it's more the colour than anything else.
I've grown up hating red, for obvious reasons, and this just doesn't sit well with me I'm afraid.  ;D

It's claret on my computer, obviously I don't have a problem with it!  ;D

After a trial period I can offer my reaction. I was an almost lone voice in not wanting to change, but I am glad that members are finding the new version more to their liking, and even more so that the hard work involved for the administrators is ultimately making their task easier.

Like flipmode, I am less than keen on the slightly gory appearance, but that is a matter of taste and I can live with that. It may be that the system decrees that am and pm are used rather than the 24 hour clock, though I fail to see the need for postings to be timed to a second. Once bmb had provided the crucial hint about clicking on the word "new" rather than on the topic to which it was attached, I am finding things much better than at first - so well done everyone involved. Except ... the American misspelling of the word "Centre" doesn't half grate! Another immutable feature of the system?

Theme: I haven't had the time to work out how to personalise that yet. When I do I'll then need to find the time to code a better one. It is somewhere on my to do list!
Clock: There might be a setting I can change for that, I prefer the 24hr clock as well. I will have a dig around the settings.
Center: Yep I hate it but in the coding world center is used not centre so that is something we are stuck with! You'll probably find colour is color as well but let's not go there!!!

I have fixed the clock to 24 hour clock!

Without doing some coding of my own, the offered themes in the gallery are a bit grim! I have installed the grey one instead of the red and personally think it's much easier on the eye! What do you all think?

Re the clock format:
To change to your own preference

Click profile at top of home page
Then account settings
Then on the menu on the left under modify profile click look and layout. Can change clock format in there to your own preferences. Some other wee settings in there that can be juggled to suit yourself

Edited to add I hate the new colour LOL. I loved the red! I'll live though

I prefer the new colour far, far more than the red. Much more restful on the eye. Well done.

It seems you (or I) can't like and quote a post. Any help on doing this would be appreciated or just a glitch in the system?

Wonder if this is something to do with me being classed as a ‘Newbie’ despite having posted on the old site for over a decade...
Had simply wanted to highlight a post from JCFC, which had gone over my head initially, as not very good with non-league club nicknames, but was quite clever when I (finally) got it!
