There will be considerable push back against any extensions given the (ridiculous) 4 games to be played in Nations League before early season start to facilitate (the even more ridiculous) winter world cup
Nations League may be ridiculous to the big teams but for the small teams it's huge. Hungary qualified for the Euros 2020/1 via the Nations League. Winter World cup is ridiculous - we have decided not to partake in it!
We have our winter beak now for 5 weeks so that helps, no need to suspend the league as we're on a break now anyway. (or will be in about 3 hours time)
